Lavender Cruise

7.45-8.30 If you are making use of our shuttle bus service, then you should wait in your hotel lobby for our tour guide and driver to collect you and take you east towards Halong Bay.

12.00 – 12.45 The crew will debrief the itinerary once you board the Lavender Cruise, after which you are free to check into your cabin and explore the new surrounds of the ship.

13.30 A wonderful seafood lunch will be laid out in the dining room as we glide past some of Halong Bay’s famous rock formations, like the Fighting Cocks and Stone Dog Islet. 

15.00-16.30 Titop Island will be our first destination today. This is a small island with a sandy beach encircled by water, perfect for relaxing and swimming. Alternatively, you can climb to the peak in the middle of the island for a great view over Halong Bay’s landscape.

17.00 Rejoin the Lavender Cruise and head upstairs to the sunset party as our bar opens for a magical evening in Halong Bay.

17.45 Learn how to make delicious spring rolls as our chef shows you the proper technique required for perfect rolls every time.

19.30 Head to the restaurant for a gorgeous set menu dinner, watching the last bit of light fade beyond the horizon.

Evening entertainment is as such:

• Learning the art of squid fishing with the crew

• Card and board games

• Karaoke

• Indulging in drinks at the bar 

• Relaxing in your cabin with a book

06.30 Rise early for an energising Tai Chi session upstairs. This is one of the best ways to start your day, along with a breakfast, which will be served in the restaurant downstairs.

07.15 We take a tour of the Surprising Cave, gazing at the whimsical formations of rocks found throughout the grotto.

09.20 Returning to the Lavender Cruise and checking out of our cabins, we tuck into brunch at 10.15 on the final cruise back to the mainland.

12.00 Stepping off the Lavender Cruise for the last time, we will board the shuttle bus heading back to Hanoi, taking in the Red River views until we arrive back in the capital at around 16.00 – 16.30.

7.45-8.15 For those using our shuttle service, we will pick you up at your Hanoi hotel lobby and transfer you to Halong Bay.

12.00 – 12.30 Board the Lavender Cruise and enjoy a welcome drink while you listen to the crew’s itinerary briefing.

13.15 The freshest local seafood will be served for your first lunch as we pass famous Halong Bay islands such as Incense Burner Island and Fighting Cock Islet. 

15.00 -16.30 We will stop at Titop Island, a wonderful place to relax on the beach, swim in the water or hike to the peak to see the perfect Halong Bay scene from above.

17.00 Rejoining the Lavender Cruise, you are very welcome to our sunset party on the sundeck with snacks available.

18.00 Our chef’s cooking class in the restaurant will show you how to make spring rolls, a delicious example of traditional Vietnamese food.

19.30 A full set-menu dinner will be served in the restaurant as the night rolls in across the magical bay.

In terms of evening entertainment activities, we have the following:

• Board and card games

• Karaoke

• Relaxing with drinks at the bar or in your cabin

06.30 A Tai Chi class will be held on the sundeck to help you kick-start the day with a boost of energy.

07.00 Soak up the new morning atmosphere of Halong Bay as you eat a full breakfast.

08.00 We will board the Lavender Cruises day boat for expeditions today, beginning with a cruise to the more remote areas of Halong Bay.

10.00 Arriving at Ho Dong Tien Cave (Fairy Lake Cave), we have about 45 minutes for kayaking.

12.00 A filling lunch will be laid out on the day boat

14.30 The Halong Bay Pearl Farm is an interesting experience as we will learn all about the production of these expensive jewels in Halong Bay. 

16.20 We rejoin the Lavender Cruise and attend the sunset party on the top deck

19.00 Another wonderful dinner is served in the restaurant.

• Karaoke

• Relaxing with drinks at the bar or in your cabin

06.15 It is your final opportunity for Tai Chi on the sundeck, so try to wake up early!

07.15 A light breakfast in the restaurant will be followed by a visit to the Surprising Cave (Hang Sung Sot) to see all of the different geological formations within.

09.30 You will check out of your cabin upon returning to the Lavender Cruise before a traditional brunch will be served in the restaurant at about 10.15.

12.00 We will arrive back at the pier and you will board you Halong Bay to Hanoi shuttle bus, which will drop you off at your hotel in Hanoi at about 16.30 Thank you for joining Lavender cruise in Halong Bay for 2 nights, we hope to see you again!
