Upon your arrival at Hanoi international airport, you will be warmly welcomed by your tour guide and driver & transferred to the city center for checking in your hotel or leaving your baggage. This afternoon, your tour guide will be waiting for you at your hotel’s lobby for a cyclo tour around Hanoi Old Quarter. It is a good chance for you to take many photos and experience the “real” Hanoi as the drive is at leisurely pace around the chaotic, ancient and bustling streets. Late afternoon, your tour guide will take you to Water Puppet Theatre to enjoy the fascinating 45-minute Water Puppet Show which is the unique performance on the water, telling the story of villagers' daily life such as farming, fishing, and romance or ancient legends, myths and historic stories.

Afterwards, enjoy a stunning welcome dinner at a local restaurant before staying overnight in Hanoi.

Day 2 of Vietnam Tour 4 Days you will visit Hanoi City Tour.

Today, you will start your story of  Hanoi tour with Ho Chi Minh Mausoleum (closed on Monday and Friday, every afternoon and from late September until December). A long queue of the visitors all around Vietnam and foreign tourists coming to pay their respect to Uncle Ho (Ho Chi Minh) will surely amaze you. From there, walk through the beautiful surrounding gardens toward the Presidential Palace, the Ho Chi Minh's House on Stilts and the One Pillar Pagoda. Continue to explore the picturesque Temple of Literature (Van Mieu- Quoc Tu Giam) which was the first University of Vietnam. The 11th-century temple nowadays is used as a holy place for students to visit before their examinations or before graduating. 

Have lunch at the restaurant near the Temple of Literature, namely KOTO restaurant which has trained thousands of students in hospitality from all over Vietnam.  

In the afternoon, proceed to visit either Hoa Lo prison (sarcastically known to American prisoners of war as the "Hanoi Hilton") or the Museum of Ethnology. Consists of many different rooms with original equipment, Hoa Lo Prison showcases the life of Vietnamese political prisoners during the French colonial period including the guillotine room. The Museum of Ethnology which has an extensive display dedicated to Vietnam’s 54 ethnic minority people is widely acknowledged as the best in the country. 

Afterwards, we will stroll around the Old Quarter to touch on the real local life and sample the local beer before returning to the hotel.

Halong Bay is the best place to visit in Vietnam and cruising on a traditional junk boat for 2 days 1 night will be perfect for your group to explore this World Natural Heritage. That will be the most highlighted time for your Vietnam Tour 4 Days.

After breakfast, we depart from Hanoi City Center and head to Northeast of Vietnam, towards the famous World Heritage Site of Halong Bay. The 4-hour drive gives you the endless photo opportunities as you will pass through many typical North Vietnamese towns and villages. Arriving the jetty, you will be welcomed aboard the traditional wooden junk, followed with the welcome drink and check-in formality and then, stunning local seafood lunch onboard. You will leave the mainland far behind as your boat sails out to the magical bay.

After lunch, you will join in some onboard activities such as venturing into the hidden areas of the bay by kayak. Next, you will also make a stop to explore one of the most stunning caves in Halong Bay to learn more about the formation of karst limestone. Back on board the junk, join in the Vietnamese cooking demonstration from the onboard chefs before having the lavish dinner in the dining room which is the perfect atmosphere for you to socialize with other guests. Afterwards, return to your cabin for a relaxing night on the bay.

Wake up early from a good night’s sleep to participate in a morning Tai Chi session on the sundeck or enjoy the sunrise over the bay.
