Hanoi to Halong Bay & Excursions

Hanoi to Halong Bay trip starts with the pick-up from Hanoi Airport.  

You will receive a warm welcome from our local guide right after you complete your procedure for your arrival at Noi Bai Airport. You can take a rest on the way we move to the center of the city to check in your hotel. It might take you around one hour to get there. The time for check-in is 14:00 but sometimes you can get the room earlier.

18:00, you will be picked up at your hotel to start enjoying for your dinner. You will enjoy the dinner with Pho at the local restaurant.

Take your free time to explore this beautiful city by yourself.  You can go strolling Hanoi Old Quarter through Dong Xuan Market, Hoan Kiem Lake...

Stay overnight in Hanoi.

Making sure you will be always ready for the second day tour in Ninh Binh. After having breakfast, you will be picked up by our tour guide for taking a two-hour drive to get to Ninh Binh from Hanoi. We will head straight to the Hang Mua peak, one of the very famous sites in Ninh Binh due to its height and the two huge dragon stones on the top. Take a deep breath before you start the journey today. It is because that you have to climb about 500 steps to reach the top to enjoy the magnificent view of the countryside and Ngo Dong River. Thus, don’t forget to take some perfect shots. 

Your lunch will be served at a the local restaurant before we take a sampan boat to move to Trang An Grottoes. This place might be very popular with not only the domestic visitors but the international visitors as well because it is the setting for the scenes in the famous movie King Kong “Skull Island”. Coming to Trang An Grottoes, you will have a chance to discover many splendid caves here including Sang Cave, Toi Cave, Ba Giot Cave.... and many series of natural limestone hills. The tour will end after 2 hours and a half, and then we will return to Hanoi for staying overnight finishing 2 days in your Hanoi to Halong Bay 6 day trip.

Today you will enjoy the Halong Bay 3 day 2 night cruise. The 3 day cruise in Halong Bay is always the most highlighted sites for your Northern Vietnam Tours or any of your Vietnam Trips.

Have breakfast in your hotel, then you will take a 4-hour drive to from Hanoi to Halong Bay.

The traditional wooden junk will be used to discover the peace and the beauty of the very famous Vietnam’s site. With its own structure, you can discover each part of this UNESCO World Heritage Site, especially the wonderful limestone mountain islands.

Lunch will be served on the board during the cruise. You can try to kayak to visit caves and grottoes that big boats cannot access. Moreover, there are a lot of available activities for you to join such as swimming in the emerald water or approaching the charming beauty of the bay from the sundeck.  After enjoying dinner with seafood in the dining room, you will take your night's sleep in your own cabin.

Don't forget to get up early in the morning today to enjoy the stunning scene of sunrise over the limestone karsts from the sundeck. Also, remember to have breakfast before you let your day tour start because it’ll be a very busy and exciting day. You’ll make a cruise on the emerald water of Halong Bay with a day boat to discover more attractive sites of this beautiful bay. Do kayaking to approach the smalls and unique islands or you can enjoy cocktail on the board to relax and take more photos with your fellow travelers. Lunch will be served on the boat for you. Afterwards, you can continue your adventure in other parts of Halong Bay. However, remember to come back the main ship in time for dinner and enjoy one more night on the board at Halong Bay.

One of the unique experiences suggested for you is doing Tai Chi exercises in the early morning. Tai-Chis the locals’ healthy morning exercise with the purpose of helping people to achieve the long lasting life and positive attitude. After enjoying breakfast, you kayaking to Luon Cave, where the larger boat cannot reach. This majestic cave will offer you a lot of new and memorable experiences. You return to Tuan Chau Harbor, where your bus will wait for you for the transfer from Halong Bay to Hanoi after your lunch. You will finish your Halong Bay 3 day 2 night cruise and return to Hanoi. Stay overnight in Hanoi.
