MalaysiaSuch a high standard of cruise set by Signature Cruise and its wonderful staff! Me and my husband have never been on a cruise before, so we didn’t know what to expect, but I’m sure they can’t all be like this or no one would spend any time on land! We were very impressed with Mr. Vinh, who led a fantastic team of friendly, attentive staff, all of whom were a joy to be around and to chat to.We were in the Junior Cabin, which was everything we hoped it would be. There was no balcony but we still got a great view of the bay from the windows. We headed upstairs to the sundeck as well an thoroughly enjoyed the view from there. The food is outstanding and the services of Vinh and his crew during dinner, to surprise all of the honeymooners (including us) and anniversary celebrators with a cake and flowers, was really touching. It helped to cement our time on Signature as one of our favourite ever holiday experiences, and we will never forget it! Hopefully we will be back again! Thank you Signature Cruise for your excellent work!

Organised and friendly service from start to finish. The luxury bus took us without a hitch and brought us back in a similar manner. This was our wedding anniversary and we were touched when the staff helped us to celebrate by providing us with a cake, flowers and some champagne! They didn’t have to do that but it was amazing that they did!Spacious rooms with a very clean bathroom. Our jacuzzi was an absolute gem! There was a lot of effort that went into the presentation and taste of the food, which we really appreciated. There are a lot of options on offer and you can see that they try to cater for absolutely everyone. All of the activities were interesting and helped us to get better angles of Halong Bay.It’s amazing that there’s even a hint of a wifi signal when you’re that far out into the ocean, but it is not strong so we gave up on it fairly shortly after boarding and were glad not to be glued to our phones the whole time. Mr. Vinh was our excellent tour manager who paid very close attention to all the little details and ensured that no customer was left unhappy. Big thanks to the other staff: the bartenders Anna and Harry; waiters Victor, Tonny Liam, and chef Luong, who is very talented. The only thing I would change would be the time of year when we went. If we return, we will probably come in Spring and we will definitely come with Signature Cruise!

It’s a real testament to the Signature Cruise that we went in December, when the weather was cold and miserable, and still managed to have an utterly fantastic time in Halong Bay! The staff were incredible in making us feel at home, and keeping us entertained during the long sail through the fog. The weather gradually improved once we took to the kayaks, so it was quite nice kayaking through all the fading mist around us. Sarah was there for us from minute one, she was the most friendly, attentive and sweet girl that Signature Cruise could have hired. Very professional and just a very positive person – we absolutely loved her! She led one of the tai chi classes in the morning and the excellent Vinh, who was also friendly and approachable, taught the next class the following morning. The cooking class was led by Victor and Liam and we had a very fun time there. The food in general was out of this world, with crazy presentation that must have taken a long time, and yet everything was out in a very professional manner at the same time. The staff asked if we wanted any more and would keep bringing us extras from a seemingly unending supply in the kitchen! We had a large Executive Suite on the top floor which was really good, as well as the balcony that it comes with. We will absolutely be coming back on this fantastic cruise with Signature Cruise, and this time at a better time of year as well! We’re hoping for a similar experience as we absolutely loved this one. Thank you again to the staff aboard the Signature! Chas & Jill

We had a budget for when we were booking Halong Bay but decided to stretch it a little when we saw the pictures of the Signature Cruise and read their reviews. We have to agree with everything that others have been saying, it was absolutely incredible! The food was seriously 5-star standard and far surpassed any idea I had about the quality attainable by a ship! There were 4 meals for us overall and they were all outstanding. Bright and clean rooms with the added luxury of the jacuzzi, which is one of the reasons why we went with Signature. We received amazing service the entire time that we were on the cruise, with Sarah especially giving us amazing service and very friendly conversation. They made my husband’s very special with some flowers and a cake presented during dinner!Definitely recommend the 3 day tour, which seems to be a bit of theme for these reviews. We did this because of what other people have said about it, and we can only add to that. Obviously it was our favourite day as it is so nice to be able to have a whole extra 24 hours in the bay. Truly memorable – I won’t be forgetting this any time soon. Thank you staff!

AustraliaHighly highly recommend this cruise and the 3 day version of it as well. You get so much more time to enjoy the bay this way.We had a little bit of a bumpy ride to the bay but we were in luxury transport the whole time. We checked into our senior suites with the balcony, which looked much nicer than the other cabins available. It was quite and there was a lovely jacuzzi for us to relax in after going out into the bay on kayaks. The kayaking is fun but energy-sapping, so those who aren’t so fit should go for the rowing boat option.Awesome staff who were committed to making it a memorable trip. Vinh especially was fantastic and deserves a shout out for sure! Delicious food with some really nice presentation. Each meal was multiple courses and we never went hungry. The crew actually asked if we wanted more, which we would have been happy to take if my stomach was more elastic. The activities were perfect and gave us a great view of the bay. Tai Chi was cancelled unfortunately because of the rain, but we slept in instead so not a problem! We managed to book during winter as we forgot how the northern hemisphere works. It was misty and quite atmospheric but it would have been nice with a bit of sun. I wouldn’t recommend going in January but if you have to, it still looks cool and is not all that cold.Still, this was the best of our 1-month Vietnam holiday and we have to thank Signature Cruise for that!
