7.30 – 8.00 The pick-up point for your Bai Tu Long Bay cruise will be your hotel lobby, where our tour guide will meet you and help you onto the shuttle bus.
12.00 – 12.30 We meet the Red Dragon Junk for the first time at Hon Gai Harbour, boarding the deluxe cruise to the appealing sight of a welcome drink.
13.30 Relax after the bus ride on the sundeck, the perfect place to see the myriad limestone towers jutting from the surface of the calm water. Lunch will be served as we set sail.
15.00 – 17.30 We will have an afternoon of swimming and kayaking around Tra San and Cap La, with all of their enclosed lagoons and hidden beaches.
17.45 – 19.00 Rest your weary arms back on board the Red Dragon Junk. Grab a drink from the bar before lounging on the top deck to watch the sky turn a brilliant gold for sunset.
19.00 – 21.00 Enjoy a wonderful dinner in the dining room before settling into a night of relaxation with our onboard activities. Maybe go squid fishing with the crew, play board games with friends, head back to the bar or retire to your cabin as night rolls in over Bai Tu Long Bay.

06.45 Morning activities start early today. Your breakfast is served to you as we begin our cruise over to the beautiful Vung Ha area.
08.00 A local villager will row us around their village of Vung Vieng, a colourful collection of floating houses with all the necessary schools, hospitals and shops.
10.00 An a la carte brunch will be served upon our return to the Red Dragon Junk. You can check out of the cabin and get your last minutes on the sundeck before we pull into the harbour.
11.30 – 12.00 Say goodbye to the crew at Hon Gai Harbour as you board the bus to head to Yen Duc Village in Hai Duong Province. This is a great chance to see the old Vietnamese farming methods in the modern day.
14.00 – 14.30 We will watch a traditional water puppet show, Vietnam’s oldest surviving art form. Afterwards, we board the bus and head back to Hanoi.

Itinerary:
On the last day of your Bai Tu Long Bay tour…
12.00 Step off your cruise ship and board the shuttle bus to Yen Duc Village.
13.30 We will arrive in Yen Duc and watch a traditional water puppet show, an art form dating back to the 11th century and originating in these sorts of villages on the Red River Delta.
14.30 We will do a cycling tour of the village, checking out the Canh Huong Pagoda, village market, cultural house and the verdant rice paddies stretching far beyond the village paths.
15.30 We relax in a traditional house as our host explains life in Yen Duc and the village’s relevance in Vietnam today. You will have a chance to prove your worth as a farmer as we have a go at planting and harvesting vegetables, basket fishing in the streams running off the Red River, and milling and pounding rice.
17.15 A hearty home-made Vietnamese dinner will be served by our obliging host, after which we re-board the shuttle bus and continue back to Hanoi.
21.30 We will arrive in the evening time at your hotel in Hanoi.

07.30 – 08.00 Our luxury van will pick you up in your hotel in Hanoi’s Old Quarter to begin the journey.
10.30 – 12.00 We will arrive in the charming village of Yen Duc, a bastion of Vietnamese agricultural tradition. We will have lunch here and then continue to Halong Bay.
13.15 – 14.00 The crew will greet you at Hon Gai Harbour on the Dragon Pearl Junk. Check-in and enjoy your welcome drink.
14.00 – 16.45 A traditional junk boat is the best way to see Halong Bay and you will experience that for yourself on the cruise to the Cap La Area.
17.00 – 18.00 You can swim and kayak around the stunning Cap La and Tra San areas.
18.00 – 20.00 Return to your Halong Bay junk to freshen up for dinner and watch the sunset.
20.00 – 21.00 Have a delicious dinner in the restaurant and we will drop anchor in the Cong Do Area for the night.

07.30 – 08.00 Have an open-air breakfast if the Halong Bay weather is on our side.
08.30 – 11.30 We will begin cruising to Cong Dam, a remote geological area with hidden lagoons and caves. We will kayak here for a few hours.
11.00 – 12.00 Relax back on the Dragon Pearl Junk as we cruise to Hon Co Island, where you can continue your relaxation or go swimming in the quiet waters.
12.00 – 13.30 Depending on the weather, we will be having a barbecue lunch either on the beach or onboard the Dragon Pearl Junk.
13.45 – 15.45 We will have a look at the cavernous Thien Canh Son Cave and its ascending ‘steps to Heaven’.
16.00 – 17.30 We will have time for one more kayaking excursion in the Cong Do area and Thay Cave.
19.00 – 21.00 Return to the Dragon Pearl Junk for dinner and to engage in the onboard evening activities before retiring to your room.

07.30 Eat breakfast in the new morning light of Halong Bay.
07.30 – 10.00 We will head to Vung Vieng Fishing Village and row around on a bamboo boat, noting the floating school and many fish farms in the area.
