Itinerary

Wait in your hotel lobby in Hanoi’s Old Quarter for the arrival of the driver and bus. We begin your La Regina Day Cruise daytrip with a swift 2-hour transfer to Got Harbour, passing ancient and idyllic farming scenes stretching across the Red River Delta on the way.

Upon arrival at the harbour, we see the La Regina Day Cruise waiting with luxurious poise in the open water. After checking in at the welcome lounge, we will board the boat and explore its many fantastic features.

11:30

After a brief introduction from the tour guide and crew, a set menu lunch is served in the glistening dining room. We begin sailing through marvellous Lan Ha Bay, soaking up views of limestone mountains jutting out of the ocean floor.

12:30

We follow some serene cruising time on the La Regina Day Cruise with a trip to the Dark & Bright Caves, both of which encapsulate the weather-worn beauty of Lan Ha Bay. A local will row us through the Bright Cave on a local sampan boat, from which we can enjoy views of a hidden lake beyond, framed by the rocky cave exit. We emerge onto the lake and enjoy the stunning views of streaked, tree-topped cliffs on all sides, some of which may host the golden-haired langur, one of Vietnam’s endangered species.

The natural splendour continues at Tra Bau, an immensely beautiful area of forested karst rocks sitting closely together. The La Regina Day Cruise will drop anchor here and we will climb into our kayaks, which will help us to unveil the wonder of Lan Ha Bay on a tranquil glide around one of its quietest areas.

We return to the La Regina Day Cruise and spend our final afternoon hours on the sundeck or in the restaurant. Soak up the rays and the perfect atmosphere with a drink in hand as we pass more of Lan Ha Bay’s spectacular sites.

16:00

The La Regina Day Cruise reaches Got Harbour and we will disembark. We wave goodbye to the crew as we board the bus that will take us back to Hanoi.

18:00

We arrive back in Hanoi and drop you off at your hotel in the Old Quarter.
