You will see this for yourself at the local market in Tra Que Organic Village, where we will pick and buy our ingredients before taking them to a professional chef who will show us what to do with them. This Hoi An Cooking Class takes you on a culinary journey through 4 different dishes, iconic to the region and across the nation before we sit down and tuck into the fruits of our labor for lunch. We finish with a tranquil cruise as we transfer you back to central Hoi An.

Activities: Go to the village market fort he ingredients that we need for cooking class, use the most traditional methods available to cook classic Vietnamese food, and enjoy your own creations.
Our guide will meet you at Hai Café (98 Nguyen Thai Hoc Street, Hoi An Ancient Town, Tel: +84 235 3863 210) at 07.30am to enjoy a coffee before we start our class.
A minivan will transfer us the 10 minutes to Tra Que Organic Village, where we will see some of the farms on which farmers grow rice and vegetables in the same way that they have done for many generations. We choose the best saw-tooth coriander and mint and pick it ourselves for use in our cooking class. A local herbal drink brewed by a resident will send us on our way.
We dive into the activity of the village market for the ingredients that we will need for later. Try your hand at bargaining for exotic spices and vegetables or let our experienced guide do it for you!
We will meet our chef and teacher for the class nearby. We use the most traditional methods available to cook classic Vietnamese food the way that people around the country have been doing it for centuries. Recipes are listed below.
Sit down for a lunch of your own creations and enjoy the communal atmosphere of a typical Vietnamese meal. After this, we will take a 25-minute cruise down the river and back to Hoi An town.
Arriving at our waiting lounge at around 15.00pm, you are free to enjoy our 20-metre swimming pool before returning to your hotel or continuing your exploration of Hoi An’s incredible food scene.
