The Ho Chi Minh & Cu Chi Tunnels Tour is a group tour that takes you around Ho Chi Minh City, to the Cu Chi Tunnels and back. Cu Chi Tunnels
Activities: Explore historical sites in Ho Chi Minh City including Notre Dame Cathedral, Reunification Palace, and War Remnants Museum before driving to Cu Chi Tunnels to explore this vast network of the tunnels.
07.30 AM– 08.15 AM: We will pick you up from your hotel in the morning to begin the Ho Chi Minh & Cu Chi Tunnels Tour with a visit to the Independence Palace.
Also called Reunification Palace, this was the site of the frantic Fall of Saigon in 1975. After this, we head to the famous Saigonese Notre Dame Cathedral and the iconic Central Post Office next to it, both buildings built by the French during colonial times in Vietnam.
The last stop of the Ho Chi Minh City tour is the War Remnants Museum, with its comprehensive look at artifacts and personal accounts of the French and American wars.
Lunch at a local restaurant will be followed by a drive to the Cu Chi Tunnels, which will take about an hour and a half. We will learn about the history of the tunnels and their use before we explore the area.
We will head down into the amazing tunnel system and see the areas where Viet Cong fighters cooked and ate, along with where they kept their weapons, made their guns, treated their wounded and commanded their troops.
We will explore the fascinating collection of traps used to defend against invaders to the tunnels, afterwards enjoying a special guerilla fighter snack of local tea and cassava.
Before we return to Ho Chi Minh City, there is a chance to shoot a real gun at a nearby shooting gallery.
