Ho Chi Minh Mausoleum
08:00 – 08:30: Pick-up at your hotel and start exploring Hanoi City.
08:45: Visit the Ho Chi Minh Complex, where you can:
- See the embalmed body of Ho Chi Minh.
- Walk through the garden and visit the two houses where he lived and worked (1954–1969).
- Explore the One Pillar Pagoda, a unique Buddhist temple dedicated to the Goddess of Mercy.
Dress Code: Wear modest clothing (cover shoulders and knees) when visiting religious and historical sites.
Note:
- Ho Chi Minh Mausoleum is closed on Mondays and Fridays, but you can still visit the area.
- The mausoleum undergoes annual maintenance (June 15 – August 15) and remains closed during this time.
10:15: Visit the Vietnam Museum of Ethnology to learn about Vietnam’s 54 ethnic groups.
Special Note: On Mondays, the tour visits the Vietnamese Women’s Museum instead.
12:30 – 12:45: Enjoy Vietnamese cuisine at a local restaurant. (Vegetarian options available.)
13:30: Visit Tran Quoc Pagoda, the oldest pagoda in Hanoi, located on Golden Fish Island in West Lake.
14:30: Explore the Temple of Literature, Vietnam’s first university, founded in 1070.
15:30: Visit Hoa Lo Prison (Maison Centrale), built by the French (1886–1901) to discover its history as a prison for Vietnamese revolutionaries and later as a war museum.
16:30: Return to your hotel. Tour ends.
