Ha Giang Landscapes
At 19:30, you will be picked up from your hotel (or hostel) in Hanoi Old Quarter and board a comfortable bus for your journey to Ha Giang City. Arrive early in the morning and check into a hostel to rest and refresh.

Meo King Palace
After breakfast, we set off on the “Happiness Road” and head north from Ha Giang City towards the Dong Van rock plateau. The road to Quan Ba takes us through steep cliffs, crossing bends and ascending Pac Sum Pass. We make a stop to enjoy the views and take photos at Bac Sum slope.
At Quan Ba Heaven Gate, you'll be greeted with a stunning view of Tam Son town, and the majestic Quan Ba Twin Mountains stand tall amidst the rolling mountains and terraced fields. These mountains are linked to the legend of “Co Tien Mountain” or Fairy Mountain.
We then continue through scenic pine-covered hills, making a lunch stop in the small town of Yen Minh. After lunch, we explore Pho Cao, where traditional yellow earth-colored houses and wooden gates with stone fences reflect the lifestyle of the region's ethnic groups, including Mong, Han, Dao, and Pu Peo.
As we approach Dong Van, we pass Pho Bang junction and enjoy a breathtaking view of Sung La valley from above.
In Sung La, we visit the relic of Vuong Chi Sinh, the former king of the H’mong people. This 100-year-old mansion features unique and stunning architecture. Finally, we arrive in Dong Van, where you can relax and explore the town's charming old streets.

Lung Cu Flag Tower
After breakfast, we visit the ancient fortress built by the French during the war, which was used to control Dong Van.
Then, we head to Lung Cu Flag Tower, one of Vietnam's most scenic landmarks.
Next, we explore the village of the Lo Lo people, one of the least common ethnic minorities in Vietnam, and enjoy a traditional lunch with them.
We then drive to Ma Pi Leng Pass, one of the most breathtaking mountain peaks in both Ha Giang and Vietnam. Situated amidst the Dong Van rock plateau, the pass offers stunning views of the high cliffs on one side and the serene Nho Que River on the other.
After lunch in Meo Vac, we have the chance to visit the weekly market (if it coincides with the tour date), where you can immerse yourself in the vibrant cultures of the ethnic minorities of the highlands.
Finally, we continue our journey to Cao Bang, where we enjoy a homestay dinner and relax for the evening.

Ban Gioc Waterfall
After breakfast, we head to the magnificent Ban Gioc Waterfall, located on the border between Vietnam and China. This stunning three-tiered waterfall is one of the most beautiful natural waterfalls in Southeast Asia, offering breathtaking views and a serene atmosphere.
Following the visit, we enjoy a traditional lunch with the locals.
In the afternoon, we drive to Nguom Ngao Cave, a remarkable limestone cave that dates back over 300 million years. The cave is filled with impressive stalactites and stalagmites, creating stunning natural formations that are truly awe-inspiring.
We end the day by staying at a Nung homestay, where we will have a delicious traditional home-cooked dinner and relax for the night.

Cao Bang
After breakfast, we visit the Pac Po Relic, where President Ho Chi Minh resided after his return to Vietnam, following over 30 years abroad. Here, you will explore significant historical sites such as Bo Bam Cave, Co Beach, Rac, Coc Po Cave, Lenin Stream, Mack Mountain, and Nam Stream.
We then enjoy lunch with the locals before continuing our journey to Ba Be Lake.
Upon arrival, we check in at a picturesque homestay by the lake, where you can unwind and enjoy a traditional dinner and breakfast in a peaceful setting.

Cao Bang attraction
After breakfast, we spend the morning cruising on Ba Be Lake, often referred to as a miniature Halong Bay of Bac Kan province. As we sail, we admire the stunning natural beauty and learn about the culture of the Tay and Nung ethnic groups.
We stop at Widow Island, a charming island in the heart of the lake, known for its connection to the lake's formation.
Enjoy lunch at the homestay before continuing our journey to Bac Me District and heading back to Ha Giang City. From there, we make our way back to Hanoi.
