The drive to Lan Ha Bay also takes half of the time as the drive to Halong Bay, giving you an incredible 8 hours of cruising time as opposed to the maximum of 6 offered in Halong.

Itinerary

07.15 – 07.30 - Pick up

We will arrive at your hotel in the morning and transfer your across the beautiful Red River Delta to Got Harbour, where we will begin our cruise.

09.45 – Welcome Aboard the Estella Cruise

We arrive at the harbour and swiftly check in. The Estella Cruise awaits us, so we will board and listen to a quick briefing of the itinerary from the tour guide. The ship sails past the first of Lan Ha Bay’s gorgeous limestone mountains as you explore the luxury characteristics and amenities found within.

11.30 – Lunch

After your explorations of the Estella Cruise, head towards the restaurant for a delicious lunch, served in Vietnamese fusion style. None of the action will be missed from here, as the restaurant is fitted with large windows, allowing us to stay transfixed by the splendour of the seascape outside.

13.00 – Secretive Lagoons and Caves

In a quiet, hidden area of Lan Ha Bay, we board our kayaks and head directly out onto the water, finding a world of untouched limestone and the verdant trees that cling to their sides. We row through fantastic wet caves, with stalactites hanging from above, framing the world outside magnificently. There is also the opportunity for a local to take you around on a simple sampan boat and show you the area’s unknown coves.

15.00 – Swimming Around Fishing Villages

We make a stop for swimming around one of the colourful fishing villages in Lan Ha Bay, noting the beauty of the houses and their incredible surroundings.

15.30 – Cooking Demonstration Aboard the Estella Cruise

We re-join the Estella Cruise once again to relax for the remainder of our tour. We do this on the sundeck or in the restaurant, where our talented chef will explain and display the art of creating Vietnamese spring rolls. We will have a go ourselves before feasting on our creations along with rice wine, cake and hot beverages, as part of our afternoon tea service.

17.30 – Disembark and Return to Hanoi

We will step off the Estella Cruise and wave goodbye to the staff. We board the bus to head back to Hanoi, arriving in the early evening at around 7:00pm – 7:30pm.
