Quang Phu Cau Incense Village

7:45 – 8:15: Start your adventure with a convenient pick-up from your hotel in Hanoi Old Quarter by our friendly tour guide.

9:30: Arrive at Ha Thai Village, a hub for exquisite lacquerware artistry since the 17th century. Step into the creative space of a master artisan, where you’ll learn the fascinating process of lacquer painting. Get hands-on and create your very own lacquer product as a unique keepsake.

10:50: Next, pay a visit to Chuong Village, famous for its iconic conical hats (Nón Lá) crafted over 300 years. Wander through the charming village, meet a Vietnam War veteran or local artisans, and hear their inspiring stories. You’ll then be welcomed into the home of a skilled conical hat-maker with over 30 years of experience. Watch her craft, and if you’d like, roll up your sleeves to join her in preparing a traditional lunch. Nothing beats the warmth of a home-cooked countryside meal!

After lunch, express your creativity by painting your very own Nón Lá or observing the artisan at work.

13:30: Say farewell to your host and continue to Quang Phu Cau Village, a vibrant community known for its incense production. Explore ancient houses, interact with friendly locals, and capture stunning photos at the colorful dyeing yard!

15:00: Wrap up the day by visiting the largest incense factory in town. Discover the step-by-step process of making incense, meet the hardworking artisans, and take home some beautifully crafted incense as a memorable souvenir.
