The culture of the Co Tu ethnic minority group in central Vietnam is one forged from the Bronze Age, and very little has changed about it since. Having only been contacted by mainstream society in the 1950s, the Co Tu have lived a very quiet life in villages constructed of fascinating architecture, where steep thatched roofs and wooden frames house dignified people with fantastically colored ethnic dress and a wholesome life based heavily on the concept of community.
The Bho Hoong & Co Tu Village Full Day Tour takes you to Bho Hoong, a lively Co Tu community, where we can learn about the culture and hunting traditions of this proud ethnic group. We have a profound respect for this way of life and our protection of the free practice of Co Tu beliefs is one of our highest priorities.
We will meet a family in another Co Tu community who will explain some of these beliefs over tea. Contact Incredible Asia Journeys now to discover a new culture of truly ancient roots!
