While the Old Quarter offers a snapshot of a very small section of Hanoi life, we show you the parts around it: the charming West Lake, historical Ba Dinh district, and the roads and alleys in between that most tourists do not get to see. Itinerary

Activities: Drive around the Old Quarter, Ba Dinh and West Lake before having a group lunch.

8.00 am: The Hanoi Scooter Tour begins in the morning when our driver picks you up at your hotel.

8.30 am: We will have egg coffee together as a group and you will hear the day’s itinerary and the safety briefing.

8.45 am: Jump on the bike as we tour around the Old Quarter, looking at Hoan Kiem Lake and the legendary Long Bien Bridge before heading to Tran Quoc Pagoda on West Lake.

9.15 am: Outside of the Old Quarter, we visit the lesser-known sites like the houses that live on the railway line and the wreckage of a B-52 bomber plane in a small lake. We will stop along the way to take photos of interesting speckles of daily life in action.

10.00 am: We will stop for a few mid-morning snacks by the side of the street.

10.30 am: We drive around the affluent West Lake, following its lakeside road and taking in the views of palm trees and estates across the water.

11.30 am: Lunch will be served at an authentic Vietnamese Restaurant in a buffet style. Local Hanoians usually have a big lunch followed by a nap, so feel free to do the same.
