Luang Prabang

Pakou (mouth of the Ou river) consists of two caves, Tham Ting (lower cave) and Tham Theung (upper cave), that overlook the Mekong River. You will also visit Ban Xang Hai village, where you will learn how the locals make LauLao (Lao whisky) and LauHai (Lao wine). On your way back to the old town, you will stop at Ban Xangkhong village, where you can see the Lue people's handicrafts and arts.
In the afternoon, you will visit some of the most beautiful and historic temples in Luang Prabang. Explore the architectural brilliance of Wat Xiengthong, a masterpiece of Laotian design, and visit Wat Mai, the town's largest and most adorned temple. Ascend Phousi Hill for a panoramic view of the town, witnessing a breathtaking sunset.
In the evening, you will have free time to explore the Night Market, where you can buy a variety of handmade textiles made by local and hill-tribe people around Luang Prabang.

Angkor Thom
