Wat Mai in Luang Prabang
Activities: Arrive in Luang Prabang. Check in and have free time in Luang Prabang.
Upon arrival at the airport, after getting your visa and collecting your luggage, pass through the exit where our happy guide will welcome you and transfer to your hotel for check-in. You will have free time in the charming city. You may walk around for learn more about the city and have time for relaxing after a long flight.
Luang Prabang is a charming city in North Central Laos with no less than 33 of its villages recognized as World Heritage Sites by the UNESCO.
Kuang Si Waterfalls
Activities: Visit highlights of Luang Prabang with the stupa of Wat Visoun, shrines of Wat Aham and Wat Mai, National Museum. Learn about local life along the Mekong River.
Our guide and driver will pick you up from your hotel to explore the splendid stupa of Wat Visoun and the shrines of Wat Aham and Wat Mai. Next, we will discover the National Museum - once the Laos’ Royal Palace where you will learn a lot of Laos history with many historical items.
Have lunch, covered by your own expenses before driving out of the town to visit ethnic minority groups in the Ban Ouay, Hmong, Ban Ou, Laoloum, Ban Thapene, and Khmu Villages to understand their abundant culture and lifestyle.
Go back to our car then we will visit Kuang Si Waterfalls passing through very scenic Laotian countryside, with rice paddies and many ethnic minority villages along the way.
Arriving at the waterfall you will take your time walking around for the beautiful photos or swimming in the clean water. We come back to Luang Prabang in the late afternoon and we may take an amazing sunset at Wat Phabath on the bay if the weather is nice. Overnight in Luang Prabang.

Ban Xang Hai village - Luang Prabang
Activities: Explore the Wat Xieng Thong Temple, enjoy the cruise on Mekong River, then visit Pak Ou Caves and visit Ban Xangkhong to interact with local people.
In the morning, we will visit the magnificent Wat Xieng Thong - the most venerated temple in Luang Prabang. Located at the end of the Peninsula of Mekong River, Wat Xieng Thong is well known for brilliant carvings and mosaics.
Next, we will take a boat upstream for about 2 hours on the Mekong River to visit Pak Ou Caves. It will be an unforgettable time enjoying the trip along the river discovering the local life and nature of the charming city. Visiting the Pak Ou Caves, you will visit thousands of the gilded Buddha statues of different sizes. In addition to the cultural aspects of the caves themselves are naturally very beautiful.
We will have lunch at a restaurant. After that, we will stop at Ban Xangkhong Village, which is well known for hand weaving where you will learn how people make the traditional Saa paper from the mulberry tree. You will be amazed by the skill of people here in making paper and silk and you also have a chance to experience the process of making the silk and Saa paper. Take time to interact with the locals to learn more about their daily life.
Later we will move down the Mekong to Luang Prabang.

Vang Vieng
Activities: Transfer from Luang Prabang to Vang Vieng. Join a boat trip on Nam Song River.
Optional: Take Bat ceremony (This will be an extra cost if requested.)
Rise early to the sound of the temple gong and witness Luang Prabang’s mystical daily ritual. The suggested time for this is around 5 am. You will have an awe-inspiring experience today with the cool in the early morning of a procession of hundreds of young monks walking silently collecting sticky rice and other foods in their bronze bowls.
The ritual is linked to a Buddhist tradition in which monks beg for their daily food as a way to demonstrate humility. Monks will walk in long silent processions searching for offerings. Giving alms is an important religious act in Buddhism and it must be carried out respectfully by locals and tourists alike. Feel free to take photos, however, please use discretion and refrain from using your flash.
After breakfast, our guide will come to the hotel to pick you up and drive south to Vang Vieng which takes around 6 hours by car. On the way, we will stop to take photos or chat with local people learning more about their lives and daily activities.
Arriving at Vang Vieng we will check in our hotel.
It is located nearby the Nam Song River with a lot of spectacular limestone mountains and caves surrounding such as a blue-green lagoon cave of Tham Poukham to the west, Tham Nam Cave to the North, and the elephant stalactite of Tham Xang.
In the afternoon, we will enjoy the boat along the Nam Song River to discover the fascinating landscape of these mountain areas. After that come back to our hotel for an overnight in Vang Vieng.
Nam Ngum river
Activities: Drive from Vang Vieng to Vientiane, visit fisherman’s villages to learn about the rural life, join the boat trip in Nam Ngum Lake.
In the morning, our guide will pick you up from our hotel in Vang Vieng and head to Vientiane which is about a 4-hour drive. We will explore beautiful scenery along the way such as Phu Kham Cave. Then stroll around fisherman’s villages in Ban Hui Mo to learn about the daily life of local people here. After leaving the city, we will drive toward Nam Ngum Lake where we can take a boat trip with splendid lake views. Lunch will be served aboard. After the cruise, we will head to Vientiane for the hotel check-in.
After the morning journey, you will have a free afternoon for relaxation or stroll around for coffee and shopping. Stay overnight in Vientiane.

Wat Sisaket temple
Activities: Visit the key sites in Vientiane such as Wat Sisaket, That Luang Stupa and some schools nearby.
This morning we will visit the highlights of Vientiane Capital. The first stop is Wat Sisaket, the oldest original temple in Vientiane. Vat Sisaket features remarkable frescoes and over 6,000 Buddha images. Next, we will visit Pha That Luang, is a large Buddhist Stupa covered by gold and located in the center of Vientiane capital. It’s as the most significant national monument and also is a national symbol of Laos.
Continuing we will visit the Patuxay Monument, also renown by other names such as Patuxai Arch or the Arc de Triomphe of Vientiane because it looks like the Arc de Triomphe in Paris.
We will have lunch before visiting some surrounding schools to have an overview of the education here before returning to Vientiane Center for your last overnight stay.

Activities: Have free time to relax or stroll around the Capital before going to Vientiane airport for catching your homeward flight.
Have breakfast in our hotel and the balance of your day at leisure. Then our driver will pick you up at your hotel around 3 hours before your departure flight time to transfer you to the airport for catching a flight to your next destination.
