President Cruise

08:45 – 09:15: Be ready in your hotel lobby in Hanoi. The limousine bus will pick you up before we head out along the scenic expressway to Halong city.

11:30: We arrive at Tuan Chau Harbour in Halong city and relax after the drive. We will board the splendid President Cruise to start your luxury Halong Bay tour. Meet your personal butler and enjoy your welcome drink in the elegant Piano Lounge.

13:00 - 14:15: Soak up the gorgeous views of the bay outside the windows as your lunch is served. Take this in the fabulous dining room or anywhere else you prefer on board.

14:30: Our first stop of the tour is to Sung Sot Cave. Walk with the guide around this outstanding limestone cavern, noting the beautiful rock formations that have been formed over millennia.

15:30: Relax back aboard the President Cruise before we arrive at Titop Island. This gorgeous island at the heart of the bay offers opportunities for sunbathing on the beach, swimming in the sea or climbing the rock staircase to the lookout point at the peak.

17:30: Head back to the cruise and make yourself at home on the sundeck, where a cooking demonstration and happy hour at the bar* will provide entertainment in front of a vivid red sunset.

19:15: Your second meal of the tour is served in the dining room. Again, you may instead take this wherever you like on board.

20:30: Enjoy your time after dinner in whatever manner suits you. There will be a relaxed squid fishing expedition on offer as well as a live jazz band in the lounge. Alternatively, you may want to make use of the spa* for a soothing massage before bed.

06:30: There will be a tai chi session held up on the sundeck for those early rising passengers. Follow the lead of our professional teacher as they show you the breathing techniques and movements necessary for this ancient martial art.

07:00: Enjoy a light breakfast downstairs of hot beverages and pastries.

07:40: We sail once again and drop anchor beside Luon Cave. Climb into the kayaks* and explore this ancient wet cave at your leisure.

09:00: We return to the President Cruise for the final time before a delicious and filling brunch is served on board. Our route back to the harbour is lined with incredible limestone towers, so make use of this time to grab the last of your photos.

11:00: Upon reaching Tuan Chau Harbour, disembark and wave goodbye to the crew and your butler. The luxury limousine van will take us back to Hanoi and drop you off at your central hotel in the mid-afternoon.

08:45 – 09:15: The tour begins at your hotel, where the limousine van will collect you and take you through the Red River Delta on the expressway.

11:30: The bus pulls up at the harbour and we are greeted with the sight of the majestic ship in the bay. After checking in, we board and you can meet your personal butler, who will provide you with a drink in the Piano Lounge and formally welcome you to President Cruise's luxury Halong Bay tour.

13:00 - 14:15: We begin our cruising into the limestone world ahead of us, enjoying a fabulous lunch service while watching the spiraling mountains of Halong Bay glide by.

14:30: We stop first at Sung Sot Cave, Halong's largest limestone cavern. The stalactites and stalagmites found here tell the history of the cave, which our guide will explain on a mesmerising walk through.

15:30: Take some time to relax back aboard the President Cruise as we approach our second destination: Titop Island. This famous landmark has a curved beach and a panoramic viewpoint atop its rocky peak.

17:30: Halong Bay enters its golden hour as we return to the ship. Take a spot on the sundeck to enjoy happy hour* and a cooking demonstration led by our chef, all with the stunning backdrop of Halong’s famous sunset.

19:15: Enjoy a dinner service of local delicacies and western fusion food. You can take this anywhere on board to maximise your privacy and enjoyment of the glistening bay at night.

20:30: The rest of the evening is yours to spend as you please. We will host a small squid fishing expedition or you could head to the Piano Lounge to enjoy drinks and a live jazz band in a sophisticated setting.

06:30: Any early risers can head to the sundeck and try a spot of tai chi in the morning sunlight. Our professional teacher will be leading a beginners’ class up here.

07:00 – 08:30: Breakfast will be a light affair of hot beverages and pastries while the gorgeous bay stands still outside.

08:45: After breakfast, we will board the luxury day boat with just a few fellow passengers. We head immediately to Soi Sim Beach and relax on its golden sands.

10:15: We make the short trip to Tung Sau pearl farm after this and kayak* in the beautiful surrounds here. This is a great chance to get up close to the bay and discover its magical beauty at close quarters.

12:00: Savour your quiet lunch on board the day boat in incredible surrounds.

14:00: Our final excursion of the day is a look around Cua Van fishing village. This is a floating residential area where some of the bay’s remarkable inhabitants live. See how the locals operate and work in the bay on a sampan boat tour around the village's floating rafts.

15:30: We return to the President Cruise and continue our luxury Halong Bay tour through the latter half of the afternoon.      

17:45: Enjoy another beautiful sunset along with the accompanying cooking class and happy hour at the bar*.

19:15: Your second dinner service will be held in the romantic dining room, unless you would prefer to eat it elsewhere. Your personal butler will be happy to oblige you, whatever your decision.

21:00: Spend another enchanting night however you like. Relax with some board games, a soak in the Jacuzzi pool or a trip to the spa* before retiring to your cabin for another blissful sleep.

06:30: Today is your final chance to enjoy the tai chi session on the sundeck, so make use of this glorious way to start the day.

07:00: Breakfast will be served once more in the dining room below as we set sail once again.

09:00: Soak up the last few hours on board the boat as we slowly cruise back to the harbour. A delicious brunch will fill us up for the drive back to Hanoi.

11:00: We reach Tuan Chau Harbour and disembark the President Cruise. Board the bus waiting for us and head back to Hanoi along the expressway. We arrive at your hotel in the mid-afternoon.
